Qualities

Worldwide there are many different grading rules for round timber (logs) and sawn timber (lumber). Knowing about this fact we reconcile the demands and grading requirements of our client with the national regulations and rules of the origin of logs and lumber.

Round timber (see also section round timber)

To specify the quality of round timber is not difficult. World wide the specification depends on the purpose of use or according to the structure of the trunk of the tree.

The primary classification is as follows:

Veneer logs (for slicing, for peeling)
Sawn logs
Industrial wood for pulp etc.
